Between 29 March and 25 April 2010, Paron and Michelin caused passers-by and motorists to look up in amazement. How? With a seven-metre high, five-metre wide "Michelin man". This high-visibility 3-D promotion took place at the "St. Jakob" motorway approach road in Basel.
Once again, Paron has been astonishing passers-by. Why? Together with tyre manufacturer Michelin International and media agency Kinetic, Paron floated an oversized Michelin man, car and tyres, high up in the air. Passers-by and motorists could hardly miss this outsize 3-D promotion. After all, the Michelin man alone was over seven metres high, with a single tyre over three metres in diameter. The novel advertising initiative by Michelin and Paron took place between 29 March and 25 April 2010 on Lehenmattstrasse in Basel.
Generating attention with a 3-D advertising campaign is not the only service Paron provides for clients, as the company is a full-service agency. What services does it provide? They include specialist advice on choice of location, site procurement, creative input and professional support with advertising design, and various PR activities. But they do more than that. Paron also assumes responsibility for the often complex approval procedure and for disposing of the Big Poster.
